We are located at Plot No. 4/2 in the first phase of GIDC, Vatva. Ppi Pumps Pvt. Ltd. is where we make vacuum pumps and other similar equipment. It’s a lot of casting and machining work. The building itself has been here for years, and it shows the wear and tear of a working factory. We aren't trying to be fancy. Our focus is on the assembly line and making sure the tolerances are right so the pumps don't fail. It gets pretty noisy when we are testing the units. Most of the people working here have been part of the team for a while. We know the machines and we know the neighborhood. Vatva is a busy industrial area, and we fit right in with the rest of the shops. We don't spend time writing long paragraphs about a mission. We just want to make sure that when a pump leaves our gate at 4/2, it actually does the job it was bought for. It’s a lot of grease, metal, and hard work. We have our tea breaks, we talk about the local news, and then we get back to the assembly. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place to spend the day. Some days are harder than others, especially when a machine breaks down, but we just fix it and keep going. We don't need a lot of praise, just a smooth running workshop and a steady stream of orders to fill.
