Kirti Tools

Kirti Tools is located at Plot No. I/3, Phase-1, GIDC, Vatva. We’re a small outfit, mostly focused on making and fixing tools for other businesses around the estate. Our shop is filled with lathes, milling machines, and benches covered in calipers and files. It’s precise work, but our shop doesn't look like a laboratory. It looks like a place where things actually get made. There’s oil on the floor and metal shavings in the corners. We spend a lot of time squinting at blueprints and making small adjustments. If a tool is off by a tiny bit, it’s no good, so we have to be patient. Some days we’re working on something brand new, and other days we’re just sharpening or repairing stuff that’s seen better days. The light in the shop isn't always the best, so we have those moveable lamps over every station. Being in Vatva, we’re right in the middle of everything. It’s convenient for the other factories to drop things off to us. We don't have a receptionist; usually, you just walk in and find whoever isn't currently running a machine to talk to about your job. We like the work because it changes every day. One day it’s a simple bracket, the next it’s a complex die. It keeps us busy and keeps our hands dirty, which is fine by us.
