German Techno Cast

German Techno Cast operates out of Plot No. 192, 193, and 194 in Phase-1 of the GIDC in Vatva. It’s a decent-sized space since we take up three plots in a row. Working in casting means things can get pretty hot and dusty, but that is just part of the daily grind for everyone here. We’ve been based in Vatva for a while now. The area is always crowded with other businesses, so there is a lot of traffic nearby. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we do our casting work every day. We have a set way of doing things, and we try to keep the workflow as steady as possible. Most of the guys here live nearby or commute from the surrounding parts of town. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot, though in a foundry-style setup, it’s always warm anyway. We handle the metal and the molds, and we don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. It’s about getting the orders filled and moving them out of the gate. If you walk through Phase-1, you’ll hear the sounds of the machinery from our plots. It’s a loud environment, but we’ve grown used to it over the years. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay productive throughout the week. Sometimes visitors get confused by the multiple plots, but they are all connected inside. We keep the scrap metal piled up in the corner and the finished parts ready for pickup. It's just how we run things around here.
