Pencil Works Design Studio

You can find us at the Vaibhav Shopping Complex in Bopal. We are on the first floor, right above that Kbob Restaurant in Bhavya Park. If you smell grilled food while you’re walking up, you’re definitely in the right place. We run a design studio here. It’s a cozy space, maybe a bit cramped when we have a lot of samples lying around on the floor, but it works for us. We do a lot of sketching and planning for different kinds of spaces. Bopal has grown so much lately, and we’ve been here to see it happen from the ground up. We aren't some big agency from the city center. We’re just local people who like to draw and build things. Our desks are usually covered in pencils, hence the name, and heaps of crumpled paper. We don’t have a polished receptionist or a fancy waiting room with leather chairs. Usually, you just walk in and someone will look up from their computer to say hello. We spend our days trying to figure out how to make a room feel right. It takes a lot of trial and error. Sometimes we disagree on a specific color for hours. But in the end, we usually get it sorted. We like the community here in Bopal. It’s a bit quieter than the main city, which is good for focusing on the work. We don't promise anything revolutionary, just good, honest design work. We’ve done a lot of work for neighbors and local shops. It’s nice to see our work when we walk around the block.
