Down in Guindy, at B-16 in the Industrial Estate, you will find Pee Vee Precision Works Pvt. Ltd. It is a place where we focus on the very small details of engineering. The machines make a lot of noise, and the concrete floors always have a bit of oil on them, no matter how much we sweep up at the end of the shift. It is just the nature of precision work. We have been in this same spot for a while now, and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us over the years. But inside our gates, things stay mostly the same as they always were. We have our workbenches and our metal tools all lined up in the back. It isn't a place for people who mind getting their hands a bit dirty or oily. We spend a lot of time measuring things and checking them twice before we say they are finished. There is no sense in rushing a job if the final quality isn't exactly where it needs to be. The afternoon heat in Chennai can be really tough, but the big industrial fans in the workshop help a little bit. Most of our guys live nearby in the surrounding areas, so we are a bit of a local crew. We don't have a big fancy sign or a shiny reception area with a coffee machine. People come to us because they know where we are and they know what we do. It is practical work for practical people. We just keep the machines running and the orders moving.
