Pbmpl C/O Pipavav Shipyard Ltd

Pbmpl is based out of Amreli, specifically on Jafarabad Road. We are situated right behind the PGVCL office, which is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us. It’s a bit of a dusty area because of all the trucks going to and from the Pipavav Shipyard. We spend a lot of our time coordinating things related to the shipyard work. Our office is just a simple building. It’s not very large and the furniture has seen better days, but it serves its purpose. We don't have any big corporate signs out front. The Gujarat sun can be very strong, so we try to do the heavy work early in the morning before it gets too hot. By the afternoon, we’re usually inside finishing up the paperwork. We aren't a big company with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small group of us who know the shipyard business well. We don't have any fancy mission statements or marketing plans. We just take each day as it comes and try to stay on top of the tasks. Sometimes the road gets blocked by big shipments, and we just have to wait it out. It’s all part of the job. We like the local food from the dhabas nearby and usually have a long lunch break when the heat is at its worst. Most of us just wear our regular clothes and don't worry too much about appearances.
