If you head down Narol Highway, you’ll find us at No. 1 Natawala Estate. Pavan Acrylic Tubes Articals is basically a workshop and warehouse combined into one. The smell of cut acrylic and the sound of machines are just part of the background noise here. It’s an industrial spot, so there is always a layer of grit on the floors no matter how much we sweep. We have racks and racks of tubes in different sizes leaning against the walls. Usually, three or four of us are working on cutting or polishing pieces at any given time. It’s physical work, and by the end of the day, our clothes are covered in tiny plastic shavings. The estate can get pretty crowded with trucks loading and unloading, so things get a bit chaotic around noon. We don’t have a fancy office for meetings; we usually just talk over the sound of the equipment or step outside for a bit of air. The light in the warehouse is a bit dim in the corners, but we know where everything is by heart. We’ve been at this location long enough to know all the other business owners around the estate. We share tools and sometimes help each other out with big shipments. It isn't a glamorous job, but we take pride in making sure the tubes are cut right and sent out on time.
