My shop is number 105 on the ground floor of the Aabhushan Complex. We are on Mg Haveli Road, right in the middle of Maneck Chowk. This area is famous for many things, but for us, it’s just where we work every day. I’ve been running Patel Shailesh Kumar Amrutlal from this location for quite a while now. Being on the ground floor is quite helpful because people don't have to go looking for us on the higher levels of the complex. The Aabhushan Complex is always full of activity, with people carrying bags and talking about prices. It’s not a very quiet place to work, but we like the energy of the market. Our shop is pretty basic inside. We have what we need to do our business and not much else. There are no big mission statements on the walls or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and get to work. Mg Haveli Road is usually packed with scooters and delivery carts, so it can be a bit chaotic outside our front door. We know the other shop owners nearby and we all just try to get through our daily tasks. We are near that In section, which is a central part of the market. It’s a very straightforward way of working. We don't have a big corporate structure, it’s just me and the help we have here.
