Parth Offset

If you walk down towards the Ranna Park bus stop, you will find us at the Kalidas Shopping Centre. We are in unit number ten. It is not a very big shop, but we have managed to fit all our printing machines inside. The smell of ink is something we have gotten used to after all these years. I usually start the day with a tea from the stall nearby before turning on the power and getting things warmed up. Most of our days are spent doing bill books, small flyers, or maybe some visiting cards for the shops nearby in Karmachari Nagar. The noise of the offset machine is quite loud, so we usually have to raise our voices to hear each other. It gets very busy in the evenings when the bus stop is full of people. Sometimes people just drop in because they saw our sign while waiting for their ride. We try to keep things organized, but when there are stacks of paper everywhere, it can look a bit cluttered. That is just how a print shop is, I guess. We don’t have a fancy reception or anything like that. People just come to the counter and tell us what they need. We do our best to get the colors right and cut the edges straight. It is hard work, but it keeps us busy and the machines running.
