Out here in Village Moraiya, things are a bit different than what you find in the main city. Parikh Packaging Pvt. Ltd. is located right on the Sarkhej-Bavla Highway. If you are driving down this way, you just have to look for the place that is opposite Rotomac Pens. That is a big landmark for everyone around here. The highway is always full of heavy trucks and a lot of dust, especially during the dry months of the year. We get a lot of that dust coming into the front yard, so there is always a lot of sweeping to do to keep things clean. Our office is tucked into the side of the main warehouse building. It is mostly just desks piled up with papers and samples of different packaging materials. We do not have any fancy furniture, just the old wooden desks and metal chairs that have been here since we first started. The sound of the highway traffic is like constant background music for us throughout the day. Sometimes a tractor from the village passes by, which reminds us that we aren't in the middle of a high-rise business district. We have a small canteen area in the back where we sit and talk about how the day is going. The tea is almost always a bit too sweet, but nobody really seems to mind much. We work long hours when there are big orders that need to go out. It is honest, hard work, and the location makes it easy for the transport trucks to find us.
