Being located at 105 Mohmmed Ali Road means we are right in the thick of things near Crawford Market. It is a very busy area, and the noise from the street never really stops. Our shop is filled with various scents and small glass bottles. Sometimes the smell of different perfumes gets a bit overwhelming, but you get used to it after a while. We spend a lot of time talking to people who walk in off the street, many of whom are just curious or looking for something specific. The shelves are packed tight, and we have to be careful when moving around so we don't knock anything over. It’s a small space, but we make it work. We don't have a fancy showroom; it’s more of a practical setup where we keep our stock ready. The heat in Mumbai can be tough, so the fan is always running at full speed. We know the other shopkeepers around here, and we often share a quick meal or a tea when things are slow. Dealing with international business from such a crowded local spot is interesting. We spend a lot of time packing boxes and making sure labels are stuck on straight. It’s a lot of manual work, and our hands usually smell like jasmine or sandalwood by the time we head home. It’s a good spot to be in if you like the energy of the market. We just keep our heads down and focus on the day's tasks.
