Paras Udyog

Paras Udyog is tucked away at 20 Banstolla Lane. It’s one of those narrow lanes where you have to watch your step because of the traffic and the carts going by. Our building is old, like most of the structures in this part of the city. We don't have much in the way of a lobby or a waiting room. You basically walk right into the middle of the workspace. We handle a variety of goods here, and the inventory changes depending on what’s moving that month. It can get quite cramped when a new shipment arrives. We spend a lot of time moving boxes around to make space. The walls have some cracks and the ceiling fans squeak a bit, but it’s home to us. We’ve known the neighbors for years, and we often help each other out when someone needs a hand with a heavy load. It’s a very traditional way of doing business. We don't use much technology besides a basic computer for the billing. Most of our records are still in big ledgers because that’s what we’re comfortable with. It might seem a bit disorganized to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is located. Banstolla Lane is a hectic place to work, but it has a rhythm that we've grown to like. We just keep showing up and doing the work as it comes through the door.
