Our place, Paras Offset Pvt. Ltd., is situated at C-176 in the first phase of Naraina Industrial Area. If you’ve ever been to Naraina, you know it’s a maze of workshops and trucks. We fit right in. The sound of the printing presses is pretty much the background music of our lives. We have stacks of paper everywhere and the smell of ink is something you just get used to after the first week. We aren't a high-end boutique; we are a working print shop. The floor is stained with different colors and the machines take up most of the room. We have a small area near the front for customers to drop off their files, but it’s usually piled with proofs and samples. Sometimes the power cuts out in this area, which throws a wrench in the schedule, but we just wait it out. Our staff has been with us for a long time, so we all know how to handle the old equipment when it gets finicky. We don't do much marketing or go to big networking events. Most of our work comes from people in the neighborhood or folks who’ve known us for years. It’s a busy, messy, and loud environment, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep the rollers turning and the paper moving through from our spot in Phase-1.
