We’ve been running Paras Led House for some time now. It’s basically just a place where we stock up on all kinds of LED lights. People come in looking for something for their home or maybe a small shop they’re opening. We don't have a big corporate setup. It’s more about having the right bulbs and strips on the shelves. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded with all the boxes stacked up in the corners. We try to keep things organized but when a big delivery comes, it takes over the whole floor. My cousin helps me out with the sales part. We spend a lot of time testing the lights to make sure they actually turn on before someone takes them home. It’s boring work sometimes, just clicking switches all day. We talk to the neighbors a lot. It’s a friendly enough atmosphere. We don’t do much advertising. Mostly people just hear about us from someone else who bought a light here. We keep the shop open late because that's when people realize they need a new bulb. It’s not a glamorous job but it pays the bills. We just focus on what's in front of us and try to get the orders right. It’s a basic life, really. We usually sit on plastic chairs out front when the shop is quiet and just watch the people go by.
