We’ve been here in the Narayan Peth area for a while now, tucked away in Ahmedabad. People usually come by when they have something on their mind they can't quite figure out. It’s a small place, nothing fancy, just a room where we can sit and look at the charts. We don't have a big staff or anything like that. Most days it’s just us and the books. We spend a lot of time doing calculations by hand because that’s how we’ve always done it. Neighbors often stop in just to say hello or ask a quick question about their day. It gets a bit crowded on certain mornings, but we try to make sure everyone gets a turn to talk. We aren't here to make huge promises. We just look at the astrology and tell people what the stars are showing for their situation. Some people want to know about their jobs, while others are worried about family matters or their health. We just listen and do the math. The office is easy to find if you’re familiar with the 50 district. We keep the kettle going for tea when it's quiet. It is steady work, mostly involving a lot of listening and thinking. Sometimes the answers are right there and other times it takes a bit of time to see the patterns. We just take it as it comes. It's been the same routine for years and we like it that way. We just keep the doors open.
