Dahyabhai Vanmalidas Lavsi

Our place is Shop No. 504/5 in the Patdi State Building. You can find us right outside the Panchkuwa Gate area. It is a very busy part of the city and there is always something going on outside. The building itself has been around for quite some time. We go by the name Dahyabhai Vanmalidas Lavsi. It’s a long name, we know, but it is what everyone calls the business. Being near the gate means there is a lot of foot traffic all day long. The shop isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have in room 504 and 5. It feels a bit cramped sometimes when it’s busy, but that is just how it is in this part of town. Most of the neighbors know us by now. We usually open up early to beat the heat and stay until the evening rush starts to die down. The Patdi State Building is easy to spot if you are looking for it. We don't do much in the way of decorating the place. It is mostly just shelves and the things we need for work. It is a basic space for the work we do. We like being near Panchkuwa Gate because it feels like the heart of the trade area. You get used to the noise and the people passing by constantly. It’s just how things are here in this building.
