Akash Developers operates out of Juhi Apartment near Vishvakunj Cross Road. This office is where we handle all the management side of our building projects. Vishvakunj Cross Road is a familiar spot for many people in the area. It’s a convenient location for us because it’s central to many of the sites we manage. Inside the office, it’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of rolled-up drawings. We spend our hours coordinating with different crews and making sure materials get to where they need to be. It’s a lot of juggling. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and other times it’s quiet enough to actually get through the paperwork. We aren't a huge corporation with different departments for everything. We all pitch in and do what’s needed, whether that’s visiting a site or filing invoices. Being in Juhi Apartment gives us a bit of a homey feel compared to a big glass office building. We know the neighbors and the local tea stall owner. We find that being honest with people about costs and delays is the only way to do business. It might not sound like a sales pitch, but it’s how we’ve always done it. We just focus on getting the structures built and making sure the foundations are right. Every day brings a new set of small problems to solve, and we deal with them as they come up. It's just a regular local office.
