Packo Plast

We are out here in the Sanand II GIDC area, specifically on Road No 38. Packo Plast is situated right across from Rasulpura Village. It is quite an industrial spot, as you would expect from a GIDC estate. The air is often thick with the smell of work and the heat from the machines running all day. We spend our shifts moving plastic around and making sure the molds are doing what they should. It gets very hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months in Gujarat. We take our breaks in the shade when we can find a cool spot. The village of Rasulpura is just a short walk away, and some of the people working here come from there. It is a practical setup for us. We have the big gates for the trucks to come in and out, which happens all through the day and night. Sometimes the logistics get a bit messy and the trucks have to wait on the road for a while. We try to stay on top of the orders, but there is always something that needs fixing or a machine that decides to stop working at the wrong time. It is just how it goes in a factory like this. We do not have an office with fancy chairs; it is mostly just metal desks and a lot of clipboards. We know the neighbors on Road 38 and we help each other out if someone needs a hand.
