P D Sharma is basically run out of Shree Raj Bhavan in Vejalpur. We are specifically at number 7 in the Ishwaramikrupa Society. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it doesn’t feel like a typical business district. You hear kids playing outside and people going about their grocery shopping. It’s a lot more relaxed than being in the middle of the city. Our office is part of the house, which makes the daily commute very easy. We've lived and worked in Vejalpur for quite a long time now. People in the society know who we are. We don't have big signs or neon lights. It’s just a small place where we handle our business affairs. Most of the work happens at a wooden table that’s seen better days. We don't have a staff of fifty people, just ourselves and the occasional help when things get busy. We like the quiet of Ishwaramikrupa Society. It helps us focus on what we are doing without the constant noise of horns and sirens. Sometimes neighbors stop by for a chat, and that’s fine with us. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We don’t try to act bigger than we are. Everything we do is handled right here from this room in Vejalpur, keeping things manageable and close to home. It’s been this way for years and we don't plan on changing it.
