We spend our days making sure those lifts don't let anyone down. The office is right in the middle of a residential area, so we are very much part of the local community. We don't have a lot of corporate polish here. It’s more about the practical side of things, like scheduling technicians and keeping track of spare parts. Most of the people working here have been in the elevator trade for years. They know the ins and outs of the different models. We get calls from all over Ambawadi and further out. Sometimes it’s a quick fix, and other times it’s a whole day’s work. We don't make big promises; we just try to get the job done right. It’s a lot of manual work, checking cables and oiling parts.
