You can find our office over at the Sarap Building, specifically in rooms 801 and 802. We are located right near Gujarat Vidhyapith and across from the Navjivan Press on Ashram Road. It is a pretty well-known area in this part of the city. The office here for Otis Elevator Co India Ltd is where we handle a lot of the local coordination and paperwork. It is a decent-sized space since we have two units joined together. Most of our day is spent dealing with various logistics. Since we deal with elevators, there is almost always something going on with a project somewhere in town. We have a lot of maps and schedules pinned up on the walls. It is not exactly a designer office; it is more about being functional for what we need to do. We keep a lot of filing cabinets because we still have many paper records for the older machines we look after. The walk from the main road can be quite hot in the summer months, but once you get inside the building, it is usually alright. There are usually a few of us here, typing away or talking to the mechanics on their radios. Sometimes customers stop by to ask about their service contracts or just to drop off some forms. We have been in this building for a long time, so we know the daily routine well. Ashram Road is always moving.
