Orkay Transmissions

Orkay Transmissions is located at 36 Laxmi Ind Estate, right on Nagarwel Hanuman Road near the Babul Products building in Amraiwadi. It’s a busy corner of the city and the estate is always full of activity. We’ve been in this spot for a while, working on transmissions and various gear parts. The workshop is usually a bit noisy with the sound of tools and the occasional radio playing in the corner. We have a small group of workers who have been with us through thick and thin. They know their way around a gearbox better than anything else. The floor is often covered in a bit of oil, but that’s just part of the job when you deal with this kind of machinery. We don’t have a receptionist or a waiting room. Usually, someone just yells from the back if they see a visitor standing at the entrance. We spend our time checking specs and making sure the parts fit like they are supposed to. It’s a practical way to earn a living, and we don’t see the need to dress it up with big words. Amraiwadi is a tough, hardworking area, and we fit right in with the rest of the shops around here. We just stay focused on the tasks in front of us and try to get things done by the end of the day. It is mostly about manual labor and getting the details right.
