Origin Industries

Origin Industries is based at No-12 in Kanta Estate. We’re situated near Bapu Nagar, right off the National Highway 8, not too far from Chamuda Nagar. Being so close to the highway means there's a constant sound of trucks passing by, which you eventually stop noticing after a few weeks of working here. Our unit is one of several in the estate, so we have neighbors doing all sorts of different things. Inside our space, it’s all about the production line. We aren't a high-tech office with air conditioning; it's a real workshop with fans and open windows. We spend our time making sure the raw materials are processed correctly. Sometimes the supply of materials is a bit slow, but we make do with what we have. Our workers are mostly local people who have learned the trade by doing it every day. We don't bother with fancy mission statements or corporate values. Our main goal is just to finish the work we have on our plates and make sure the machines are oiled for the next morning. It’s a lot of physical labor and staying on your feet for long hours. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and most people in the local industrial circle know where we are. It’s a humble setup, but it works for us. We just take each job as it comes and try to stay busy throughout the week.
