Orient Ceramics & Industries Ltd

Operating out of Ruturaj Apartment in Ahmedabad is a bit different than being in a big warehouse. We are in S/F 1, which is right there in Chokshi Park. Being on Isanpur Road in Maninagar means there is always something going on outside the window. Orient Ceramics & Industries Ltd has been part of this neighborhood's fabric for some time. The apartment setup makes it feel more like a home than a corporate office, which I think we all prefer. We have our desks crammed into the rooms and the balcony is usually full of tile samples that we don't have space for inside. The Ahmedabad heat is no joke, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building. We spend a lot of time on the phone with customers from all over the city. It’s a lot of practical talk about sizes, colors, and delivery dates. Nothing too complicated. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure people get the ceramics they ordered for their bathrooms or kitchens. The stairs can be a bit of a pain when we have to carry heavy folders up and down, but we’re used to it by now. The local market nearby is great for lunch, so that's a plus. It’s just a normal day-to-day routine for us here in Maninagar, keeping the business ticking over.
