We have been operating out of 54/16 in Rajouri Garden for a long time now. It’s not the biggest office you’ll ever see, but it works for us. Most days start around nine with a lot of shouting and phones ringing. As Omega Merchants Pvt. Ltd., we mostly just handle a lot of buying and selling. There is a lot of paper on the desks and the computer screens are always bright. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and see people working. The neighborhood around Rajouri Garden is always busy, so there is usually the sound of traffic coming through the windows. We spend a lot of time checking on shipments and making sure the numbers match up in the books. Sometimes we stay late when a big order comes in. It’s just the way things go. We’ve got a small group of people here who have known each other for years. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the work that needs to get done before the day ends. It can be a bit messy sometimes with boxes stacked in the corners, but we know where everything is. We don't really bother with big speeches. We just get the tasks done and go home to our families. It’s a basic operation but it’s ours and we’ve kept it going through plenty of ups and downs over the years.
