Om Flexi Pack

Om Flexi Pack is located at 6 Subhash Industrial Estate. We’re on Ramol Road in the CTM area of Amraiwadi. If you know the industrial belt here, you know it’s a lot of work and not much else. Our unit is number 6, tucked into the estate along with a bunch of other similar businesses. The road outside, Ramol Road, is constantly busy with big trucks and tempos moving goods. It makes the whole ground shake sometimes when a heavy one goes by. Our space is basically a big room where we keep everything organized as best we can. It’s not always perfectly clean because of the nature of the work, but we try. There’s a lot of noise from the neighboring units, usually the sound of cutting or packing machines. We usually have the big shutter open during the day to let some air in. CTM is a bit of a gritty area, but it’s practical for what we do. We don’t have a fancy sign or a lobby. You just walk in and we are there. Most of our days are spent checking orders or moving boxes around. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten quickly so we can get back to it. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We’ve been at Subhash Industrial Estate for a bit now and it suits us just fine. The metal roof makes a lot of noise when it rains, but we've gotten used to it. Sometimes the tea man comes around and we take a five-minute break.
