Om Construction

Our place is in B/10, Harikrupa Society, which is right off Vatva Road in Isanpur. Living and working in Ahmedabad means you get used to the heat and the constant hum of the city. Om Construction has been our main thing for a long time. We mostly handle things in this neighborhood and the surrounding areas. The office isn't much to look at, just a desk, some chairs, and stacks of paperwork from various projects we’ve finished or are currently stuck on. Vatva Road is always packed with traffic, so we hear the horns all day long while we try to figure out schedules. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for years. They know how we like things done. Most of our calls come from neighbors who saw our sign or heard about us from someone else in Harikrupa Society. We don't spend money on fancy brochures. We just talk to people and figure out what they need for their houses. Sometimes it’s just fixing a roof or putting up a new boundary wall. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sunday is for resting, though sometimes we still end up talking about bricks. The weather here can be tough on the laborers, so we try to start early in the morning before the sun gets too high. It’s just us doing what we know and getting the jobs finished when we can.
