Om Carpets Company is set up right on G. T. Road in the Jungiganj area. We are located in Sant Ravidas Nagar, which is a place known for this kind of work. Being on the main road is very convenient for us because trucks can pull up easily. The building is a traditional one, and you can usually smell the materials we use as soon as you walk in. We spend a lot of time checking the weaves and making sure the piles are right. It is a very tactile job. We don't have a modern showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have stacks of rugs and carpets piled high in the back. The front area is where we sit and talk to buyers or suppliers who come through. Sometimes it gets dusty because of the location and the nature of the fabrics, but that is just part of the carpet business. We have been here for years, and the routine hasn't changed much. We start when the sun comes up and usually wrap things up as it starts to get dark. Jungiganj is a tight-knit place where everyone knows what everyone else is doing. We don't need to put up big advertisements because everyone around here knows where Om Carpets is. We just focus on keeping the quality of the carpets where it needs to be and making sure the orders are ready on time for the G.T. Road transport.
