Sunrise Plastic Industries

You can find Sunrise Plastic Industries over at Plot No. A-40 in the Bileshwar Estate. We are right opposite GVVM and close to the S. P. Ring Road in Odhav. Being in Ahmedabad, it gets really hot in the summer, especially inside the factory. We’ve got machines running most of the time, making various plastic items. The noise is something you just get used to after a week or two. It’s a gritty job, and our hands are usually a bit greasy from maintenance. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most people just come to the back where the loading dock is. We started out here because it’s a good industrial spot. There’s always a truck backing in or pulling out. The floor is concrete and stays dusty no matter how much we sweep. We make things that people use every day, even if they don’t think about where they come from. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around for the generator to kick in. It’s just the way things are. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to keep the machines running and the orders moving. If you’re looking for us, look for the big blue gates. We’ve been here in Odhav for years, and we know the neighborhood like the back of our hand. The neighbors mostly do metal work, so it's a loud area altogether. We usually eat our lunch in the small shade under the neem tree outside.
