Sigma Mechotronics Pvt.Ltd. is based out of No.22 in the Bileshwar Industrial Estate. We are right opposite GVMM and quite close to the S.P. Ring Road Circle, so there is always a lot of movement around here. The industrial estate has that specific smell of metal and grease that you never really get out of your clothes. Our unit is a mix of desks and heavy benches where the actual mechatronics work happens. It’s a loud place most days with the sound of tools and the occasional shout over the machines. We have a small team of people who know their way around a circuit board just as well as a mechanical assembly. The lighting inside isn't the best, but we have lamps at the stations where the precise work gets done. It can get pretty cramped when a new shipment of components arrives and we have to find a spot for all the crates near the entrance. Most of us commute from different parts of the city, and the Ring Road makes it easier to get here, though the circle is always a mess during rush hour. We don’t spend much time worrying about the decor or making the place look like a showroom. It is an honest-to-god workshop where things get built and tested. We just put in the hours, solve the technical hiccups as they pop up, and make sure the parts are moving out the door on schedule.
