Sanjay M. Gupta

My business is located at units 267 and 268 within the Gujarat Vepari Mahamandal Audhyogic Vasahat in Odhav. It’s a busy industrial area, and my units are just like the others around here—practical and built for work. I’ve been running things under my name, Sanjay M. Gupta, for a long time now. We handle industrial supplies, so the space is usually full of heavy items and various parts. It’s not a showroom; it’s a working warehouse and office. I spend a lot of my day sitting at a small wooden desk near the front, dealing with whatever comes through the door. There’s no air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that struggle against the afternoon heat. The air is often thick with the smell of metal and engine oil from the shops nearby. We have a small team, and we’ve all been together for years. We don't use computers for everything; I still like to keep my accounts in physical ledgers that I update by hand. It’s a bit old-school, but it’s the way I’ve always done it. Odhav is a tough place to work sometimes because of the dust and the traffic, but it’s where the business happens. We don’t have a website or a fancy logo. People come to us because they know we’re here and we have what they need. It’s just a regular, everyday operation that keeps us busy.
