Khodal Plast

Khodal Plast is situated at unit 42 in the Anmol Estate. We are right opposite Shivam Estate and just behind Kailash Estate, which are all part of the big industrial patch near the Odhav Ring Road. Odhav is a busy area for manufacturing, and our place is no different. We have a fairly large shed where we keep the plastic molding machines and all the raw material. The floor is usually covered in some plastic pellets, no matter how much we sweep it. It’s a noisy environment when the machines are running, and it can get quite hot in the afternoons. We are close to the Ring Road, so the sound of heavy trucks is constant throughout the day. We don't have a fancy office; it's just a small corner with a table and a computer where we keep track of the production numbers. Most of our work involves making sure the plastic parts come out right and that we don't run out of material mid-shift. The guys here have been working together for a while, so we have a good rhythm going. Sometimes the rain makes the estate roads a bit muddy, but we just deal with it. It’s a practical, no-nonsense manufacturing unit where we just focus on the daily output. We stay busy from early morning until the night shift takes over, just keeping the machines going.
