Hindustan Cement Products

We are located out on the Odhav-Kathlal Road in the Singarva area. If you see the H. P. Petrol Pump, we are just opposite that, near the Gopi Godown. It is a wide road with a lot of big trucks moving back and forth all day long. Hindustan Cement Products is basically just a big yard and a shed where we handle all the heavy stuff. Cement is messy work, so none of us ever look very clean by the time we head home. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoon, so we try to do the loading early in the morning when it is still a bit cool. We do not have a fancy office with air conditioning. Usually, we just sit on some stools under the shade of the roof when we have a minute to rest. There is always dust in the air from the materials, but we are used to it. We are not really interested in the corporate side of things. We just want to make sure the products are ready when someone comes to pick them up. Sometimes the delivery trucks get delayed in the traffic near the godown, which can be a bit of a headache. But that is just how things go around here. We have been at this for a while and we just take each day as it comes. It is a straightforward business without any bells or whistles attached to it.
