D. R. S. Logistics Pvt. Ltd. is located at Shop No. 26 in the Amar Jyoti Shopping Centre. We are right opposite the Ahmedabad Street Craft and really close to the Ring Road Circle. Being near the circle is good because it’s easy for the drivers to find us when they are coming off the main road. The shopping centre is a busy place with a lot of different shops, so there are always people moving around. Our office is fairly small, just enough room for a couple of desks, a computer, and a lot of logbooks. Logistics is all about paperwork and timing, so we spend most of the day tracking where the trucks are and when they are going to arrive. It can get a bit loud with the traffic from the Ring Road, but we are used to it by now. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded when a few drivers come in at the same time to drop off their manifests. We don't have anything fancy in here, just the basics to keep the business running. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can, but sometimes there are delays at the state borders or the weather is bad. We just take it as it comes. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the loads are safe. We've been in this shop for a while and it suits our needs for now.
