Color Star

You can find us over at Plot No. 53/2, just behind the fire station in Gidc. Having the fire station so close is actually a good landmark when people are trying to find the Color Star gate for the first time. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always trucks moving around and noise from the neighbors. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a good bit of time. It isn't a glossy office or anything, just a workspace where we deal with our daily production and paperwork. Usually, the morning starts with a quick check of what came in the day before. We don't really do the whole corporate meeting thing; we just talk while we work or over tea. Some of the machines are older but they still do the job if you treat them right. The floor gets cluttered by Wednesday, and we try to clear it out by Friday afternoon. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. Sometimes the power flickers when it rains hard, which is just part of being in Gidc I guess. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. It’s a plain building with a lot of activity inside most days of the week. Most of the staff live nearby, so we’ve become a bit of a small community here. We just show up, do the work, and head home to our families when the sun goes down.
