Carbide Tools Corporation

You can find Carbide Tools Corporation over at Plot No. L/159 in the Gidc. We’ve been working out of this plot for quite some time. It’s a place filled with grinders and sharpening tools. There are sparks flying pretty often when we are in the middle of a job. It isn't a place for someone who likes to stay clean. Our clothes usually have little holes from the sparks and we always have metal dust on our shoes. We aren't trying to be a big corporate entity. We just provide tools to the people who need them. The workshop is organized in a way that only we really understand. To anyone else, it might look like a mess of metal bits and drawers. We take care of our machines because they are what keep us going. Some of them are quite old but they still do the job better than the new ones sometimes. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive signs. The plot number on the door is enough. It’s a lot of precision work, so we have to be careful even when we are tired. We take our breaks together and talk about whatever is going on in the neighborhood. It’s just a normal life at the Gidc. We do the work and we go home. That is about it for us. We just keep the wheels turning day after day.
