Our yard is located at Chanakya Complex, right across from Murlidhar Society. If you are looking for us, we are near Chhotalal Ni Chali. We deal with various types of wood and timber every day. It’s a bit of a messy business with all the sawdust and logs piled up, but we like it. The space gets crowded when a new shipment comes in. We’ve been at this spot for some time now. Some days are quieter than others, depending on who is building what in the neighborhood. We don't have a flashy showroom, just the stacks of wood and the tools we use. My clothes usually end up covered in wood shavings by noon. It's a heavy job, lifting these beams and planks. People stop by when they need a few pieces for a project at home. We try to stay organized but it is hard with so much stock moving in and out. The location is easy enough to find if you know the Murlidhar Society area. We keep regular hours, usually opening up once the traffic starts moving. Sometimes the crane is blocking the entrance for a bit while we unload. It’s just how things go here at the complex. We focus on the wood and getting the sizes right for the customers who walk in. Most of the guys here have been working with wood since they were young and they know the stock.
