Spark Spring Industries Private Limited

Our workshop, Spark Spring Industries, is located at number 72 in the Vepari Mahamandal Industrial Estate in Odhav. It’s a place where we make all kinds of springs for different uses. If you come inside, you’ll hear the sound of coiling machines and metal hitting metal all day long. It’s a bit messy, with bits of wire and oil here and there, but that’s how a spring factory usually looks. We’ve been in Odhav for quite some time now. The industrial estate is always humming with activity from all the other businesses around us. We have a small crew of workers who know their way around the machinery. Making springs is more precise than it looks; if the tension isn't exactly right, the whole batch is no good and has to be redone from scratch. We spend a lot of time checking the coils and making sure they’re the right size for the order. It’s not the most glamorous job in the world, but it’s what we do to earn a living. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. We just have our machines and our workspace. Most of our days are spent filling orders and loading boxes onto trucks. The heat in the estate can get pretty bad during the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and keep working. It’s just a normal place where we try to do a decent job every day and get things sent out on time.
