Gagan Belting Corporation

Gagan Belting Corporation is tucked away at No. 37 in the Satsang Industrial Estate. We are pretty close to Madhve Estate, right near the Odhav-4 Way Ring Road. It’s a loud area with all the traffic from the ring road constantly humming in the background, but you get used to it after a week or two. We deal with industrial belts and all the bits that go with them. The shop is usually full of rolls and different materials stacked up against the walls. It isn't the most organized-looking place if you’re used to big corporate offices, but we know exactly where everything is. My father started this a while back and now we just carry it on. The morning starts with a lot of heavy lifting and checking what needs to go out to the customers. Sometimes the orders are small, sometimes they take up the whole afternoon to sort out. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. If the phone rings, one of us picks it up. We drink a lot of tea from the stall around the corner while we talk through the day's schedule. The Ring Road makes it easy for the delivery vans to get in and out, which is the main reason we stayed in this spot. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, we handle the belts, and we make sure the orders are ready when people come to collect them. There is no magic to it, just keeping the machines running.
