Ganga Hybrid Seeds Company

Ganga Hybrid Seeds Company is over at 305, Hi-scan House. We are right near the Mithakhali Under Bridge in Ahmedabad. It is a very central location so it is easy for people to find us even with the city traffic being so bad. The building is a typical commercial block and we are up on the third floor. Inside our space, there are samples of seeds kept in jars on the shelves. Sometimes the bags get a small hole and you will find seeds rolling around on the floor. We try to keep it clean but it is a working office. The view from the window is mostly the cars coming and going from the underbridge. Ahmedabad gets very dusty so we have to wipe down the desks every single morning before we start. We have a small table where we sit and talk to the farmers who come in from the rural areas. They usually have a lot of questions and we just sit and talk through things with them. We do not use any high-tech gadgets or fancy screens. We just have our ledgers and some old maps pinned on the wall. The air conditioner is old and makes a rattling noise but it keeps the heat away during the peak summer months. We have been at this address for a while and everyone in the building knows us.
