We are Mahavir Developers, and our office sits behind Indraprasth Tenament, right across from Parimal Tenament near Shaligram Homes. It’s a residential-feeling area, which is nice because it’s not as chaotic as the main roads. We’ve been working out of this spot for a while now. Most of our day is spent looking at site plans or talking to people about where their new house is going to be. It’s not always glamorous work. There is a lot of waiting around for things to happen and then a sudden rush when everything starts at once. We keep a fairly relaxed atmosphere in the office, though. There’s always someone coming in or out with a question. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will help you out if they aren't on the phone. We know the neighbors and the local shops around Shaligram Homes pretty well. It feels like a small community here. We just focus on the projects we have in front of us and try to make sure everything is done right. Some days are long, especially when we have to stay late to finish up a set of documents, but we don't mind much. It’s just how the business is. We like being part of the growth around here and seeing new homes go up. It’s satisfying to see a family move into a place we had a hand in building from the ground up.
