Our office is right across from Parmeshwar Flat, not too far from the Palm Hotel. Jay Laxmi Developers is mostly just a few of us who have spent years in the building trade. We aren't a huge corporation with a glass office building. We like it this way because we can talk to people directly without any layers of management. Being near the hotel means it’s easy for folks to find us if they need to chat about a project. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and talking to contractors on the phone. It gets pretty loud sometimes with all the traffic outside, but we’re used to it. We handle various building jobs around this part of town. We didn't set out to change the world, just to do our jobs and make a living. Sometimes we’re out on the dirt lots all day, and other times we’re stuck inside catching up on stuff. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with piles of papers and samples everywhere. But that’s how we work. We know the streets around here like the back of our hands. If someone needs something built or has a question about a local plot, they usually just drop in. We don't have a receptionist, so you might have to wait a minute if we're in the back. It's just the way it goes here and we wouldn't have it any other way. We enjoy the simple reality of our work and the people we meet.
