You can find us on MG Road, right opposite Shahi Kutir. It is a busy street and there is always noise from the shops and the cars going by. Our office is right in the middle of it all. As developers, we spend our days juggling a lot of different tasks. One minute we are talking to an architect and the next we are dealing with a supplier about a brick shipment that didn't arrive. It’s a lot of pressure but we’ve grown used to it. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we do the planning and the bookkeeping. We have a small crew and we all know each other well. We don't have formal meetings; we usually just talk across the desks. People come by to ask about the latest projects, and we just give them the facts. Construction is a tough business with a lot of ups and downs. Some months everything goes perfectly and other months nothing seems to work. We just stay focused on the task at hand. It’s a practical way to live. We’ve been working on this road for a while and we plan to stay here for many more years. There is no point in pretending we are something we are not. We just build buildings and hope the weather stays clear enough for us to work.
