Our office is right near the Khodiyar mata Temple in Chamunda Nagar, so we hear the temple bells quite often during the day. It’s a nice reminder of where we are while we sit around the table at Balatripur Sundari Developers. Most of the time, we’re just dealing with the daily grind of planning and site visits. The air gets a bit thick with dust from the nearby roads, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Sometimes the laborers show up late or the materials get delayed, and we just have to figure it out on the fly. It isn't always smooth, and there’s usually a lot of shouting back and forth to get things right. We take our breaks at the small stall down the street because their tea is better than what we make here. Working in development means a lot of paperwork and even more time spent standing under the sun checking on progress. It's a living, and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down over the temple. We just do our bit here and try not to overthink things too much because there is always more to do tomorrow.
