Dhankecha Overseas

Our place is at 3 Pushpvan Bunglows, which is near Gopal Chowk on the Nikol-Naroda Road. This is the New Naroda area. It’s a bit of a mix of houses and small businesses here. We call ourselves Dhankecha Overseas and we deal with various items that need to go from one place to another. My office is basically a room in the bungalow where I keep my computer and all the shipping papers. There’s always a lot of phone calls to make to agents and transporters. It can get pretty stressful when a shipment is stuck somewhere, but that’s just the nature of this work. We are close to Gopal Chowk, so it’s easy for people to find us. The area is always crowded with traffic, which makes getting things moved a bit of a challenge sometimes. I don’t have a big corporate staff. It’s just a small setup where we keep track of boxes and schedules. Sometimes we are handling stuff for local shops, other times it’s for people further away. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just desks, some sample products, and a lot of logbooks. I’ve been in New Naroda for a while now and people around here know me. We just try to keep the packages moving and the paperwork straight so there are no headaches later on. It takes a lot of patience to deal with the routes and transport timings daily.
