Just Dogs

We’re located on the first floor of S. R. House on Surendra Mangaldas Road. If you know where Bikanerwala is in Nehrunagar, we’re right near there. It’s a lively part of Ahmedabad. Just Dogs is basically what the name says. We spend our whole day around pets and their owners. It’s never really quiet here. There is usually a dog barking or someone asking about what food is best for a puppy that won't eat. We’ve got bags of kibble stacked up and toys everywhere. The staff here actually likes animals, which is good because it can get messy. Sometimes a customer comes in just to show us a picture of their pet. We don't mind. It’s a local shop feel even though the building is a bit modern. We have to keep the floor clean constantly because of all the paw prints. The elevator in S. R. House is sometimes slow, so most of us just take the stairs. Working here means you go home with fur on your clothes every single day. We don't have some big corporate strategy. We just stock the shelves and help people find what they need for their dogs. Nehrunagar is a busy area, so it’s always moving. We just try to keep up with the demand and make sure we don't run out of the popular treats. We also spend a lot of time checking expiration dates on the food.
