You can find us at the Panlee Complex, which is right near the Mithakhali Six Cross Road. It’s a very busy intersection in Navrangpura, and we’re situated right opposite the Sardar Patel Sewa Samaj. Our work at Nirisha Optics Private Limited involves handling the optics side of things, so there’s a lot of precision involved in what the staff does every day. The complex itself is quite active with different businesses, but we’ve carved out our own little space here at number 106. Inside, it’s mostly organized rows of frames and different types of lenses waiting to be processed. We spend a lot of time checking orders and making sure the right prescriptions are being sent out to the labs or the customers. It’s not a loud place, compared to the street outside. We try to keep things fairly quiet so people can focus on the technical details. The light in the office is bright because we need to see what we’re doing with the small optical parts. Sometimes people drop in just to ask for directions because of where we’re located, and we’re happy to help. Navrangpura is a good area to be in, even if the parking is a total nightmare most days. We usually just walk or take a rickshaw if we can. It’s a steady kind of work, and we’ve been doing it long enough that we don’t really think about the routine anymore, we just get on with it.
