National Switch Gears is based at 403 Ashwamegh Avenue, which is right near the Mithakhali Six Road in Navrangpura. If you know Ahmedabad, you know that area is always buzzing with traffic and people. We have been in the switchgear business for a long time now. Basically, we provide the parts that help control and protect electrical circuits. It is a very specific type of work, but it’s important for any building's safety. Our office isn't anything fancy; it’s mostly filled with boxes of inventory and technical catalogs. We like being in Navrangpura because it’s central and easy for our customers to reach us, even if the parking at Mithakhali can be a bit of a struggle sometimes. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy slogan. We just know our products and we try to give people the right advice when they come in asking for a specific switch or breaker. It’s a steady kind of life here. We deal with electricians, builders, and local shop owners every day. Some days we are very busy with large orders, and other days we just chat with the regulars who drop by for a few parts. We’ve stayed in this business because we understand the technical side of things and we like the local community here. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, and we don't feel the need to dress it up with corporate language.
