Mit Grafik Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away in the Shashwat Complex over in Navrangpura. You have to go behind the St. Xaviers Ladies Hostel in the Swastik Society area to find us. We’re right off C. G. Road, which is always busy. We do a lot of graphic work and printing related stuff. It’s a creative space, but it’s also very practical. There are printers running and people hunched over screens most of the day. We didn't set this up to be a big fancy agency; we just wanted a place where we could do good design and get things printed right. The office is usually a bit cluttered with paper samples and proofs, but we know where everything is. It’s a local operation, and we like it that way. Most of our clients are businesses from around Ahmedabad who need things done without a lot of fuss. We aren't big on using marketing jargon. If a design looks good and the print is sharp, that’s what matters to us. Sometimes the deadlines get tight and we stay late, but that's just the nature of the graphics business. Being near the hostel and the main road means there’s always people around, which gives the place a bit of energy. We just keep working away on our projects, trying to make sure every job that leaves our door is something we can stand behind. It’s a small team, but we've been at it for years. I think the location helps us stay connected to the community.
