We are tucked away in the Ishwar Complex right by the Sardar Patel Stadium Circle. If you know Navrangpura, you know it’s a central spot in Ahmedabad with a lot going on. The building is older, and you can tell by the stairs and the way the doors creak. Media is based on one of the upper floors, so we get a bit of a view of the stadium traffic. It’s a lot of noise from the cars and scooters below, but it keeps the energy up. Our space is filled with computers and half-empty coffee cups. We don’t bother with fancy carpets or expensive paintings. The walls are mostly white, or at least they were when they were last painted. We like being near the circle because there’s always a place to grab a quick snack or meet someone for a chat. Navrangpura has a certain vibe to it, and we feel right at home in the middle of it. The elevator in the Ishwar Complex has its moods, so we often end up taking the stairs anyway. It’s a small price to pay for being in such a convenient location. We’ve got a few plants near the window that are struggling a bit, but we try to remember to water them. It’s a lived-in space where we spend most of our waking hours. Nothing too formal, just a bunch of us doing what we do. We usually leave the windows open for a breeze, but that just lets the dust in from the street.
